Catch The Bug Challenge

"Hugs"
November Theme Challenges
Things with a tail!

Found a "Tail" at just some lines digi store.  This is Jessi Hugs a Cat.  Catch the Bug Challenge is  asking us to create a project with anything with a tail and link it to Bugaboo Stamps challenge.
Did I mention that there are prizes to win?  Goody  goody...goody
This time I used my sewing machine to stitch my card.  Of course I used my copics, SCAL and cricut.  No project is complete without some bling..bling, imaginisce, diamond glaze and some stickles.  This theme goes right along with my theme "I love orange Kitties".
What inspires me first is PAPER when starting a new project.  I go through my huge stacks of paper and go from there.  A good friend and I share papers from our packs.  Great to have good friends, most of them do scrap booking (I don't, just cards).

Meowy Christmas

Bugaboo Stamps, Catch the Bug
November Anything Goes Challenge

I just love orange kitties, even though mines lives next door.  Think this will be my Christmas card this season.  This digi stamp is from Bugaboo Stamps (make it snappy-Meowy Christmas/frame it) for the Catch the Bug challenge on their blog.  http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/  Check out their store, you'll just love it.  I love using my copic pens and a little diamond glaze on the ornaments.  It never to early to start on your Christmas projects.

Crafters Digital Art Center Progressive challenge,22a

"Thank You Sew Much"
cdacpc 22a PC, Digi by Pattie Creations

This is my latest entry in the challenge at Crafters Digital Art Center.  I just love coloring with my copic pens.  The broader and the rick-rack was from using my SCAL program and my Cricut. I used embroidery thread and glued it on the spools.  I have had this thread for over 40 years, back when I was a hippy I embroidered everything.  Look at the price I paid for the floss by in the olden days!
12 cents
Thanks so much to Pattie for letting us use her creation digi stamp this time.  I just love Pattie Creations images.  Because these artist give us free images to use in the challenges, I always visit their sites and purchase some of of their digi stamps.
Great group of artists, thank you all.

New entry in CDAC Progressive Challenges.

"Keepin' it rural"

I found this wonderful website Crafter's Digital Art Center.  This is the first time I have ever entered my cards in challenges.  It is so much fun to share with so many other talented card makers from all over the world.  I started using digi stamps and I absolutely love them.  We receive a free digi image from various artists and make a paper project then enter them.  They get posted and comments get shared.
What fun!
There are several challenges to pick, my favorite is "cdac free progressive challenges" by Priscilla Styles http://priscillastyles.ning.com. The entry this time is this cute little pig by doodlepantry.

I used my copics, cricut and software(SCAL) and svg files from "Bird's Cards" also stickles on my little butterflies.

This was fun to do, I used my husband sandpaper, the netting is from butterball.  I used SCAL and cricut to cut the flowers and radio by lettering delights and by SVGCUTS.com.  The seagull is from just ink lined.

Just a little side note: The surfboard in the middle, I ran out of ink for the first time using my pens. (Copic, C1 coolgray) Don't know if I should by refill for it or just a new pen.  This will be my first refill...Good luck to me...just love learning new stuff.
